Creation is the true definition of all art forms, and living is one of them. That’s why The Style of Living hunts for little aspects that can make our lives rich and stylish. I’m not talking about materialism here. One can lead a stylish life with any budget. The secret lies in creating the type of life you want. Remember, money can’t buy happiness… or great style.

I am a California-based writer. My editorial work, which focuses on fashion, design, travel and culture, has appeared in California Home + Design Magazine, Fashion TV, Houzz, The Fashion Spot and Love to Know. Before becoming a writer, I worked as a fashion model for the likes of Carolina Herrera, GAP, MAC Cosmetics and Vanity Fair.

I am in love with fashion, but conversely disinterested in its typical representation. I constantly seek for the progressive rather than the mainstream. This blog serves as a platform where I can share some of my published work and personal ideas regarding style. I hope you enjoy reading TSOL as much as I enjoy writing it.

Love,

That’s a great philosophy! Style does matter a lot. Life should be pretty, right? Can I have your contact info for a quick interview?. We need people with different perceptions on fashion and how fashion influences our lives. Drop me an email…

Wow, you look like a super model, but your writing is strong, so I guess you prefer to be a journalist. I read your article on environmentalism, great job. I also like your page on Fashion TV. Keep up the good work.

I have to say this website is great. I like that the editor is focusing more on other issues, like the crisis in Congo. Please continue to use your writing talents for causes like that.

It seems like everyone mentions how beautiful you are, so I won’t. I will comment on your writing. I think you write so well and clear. I love reading your stuff here and at FTV.
You look so young though! I had to say something…:)

Good idea Karen, but I don’t want this page to be about me at all. There’s plenty of people doing that already. No need for more! :)
